Angels manager Mike Scioscia said Wednesday that Torii Hunter will "likely" rejoin the team when they return home Monday or Tuesday.
Hunter was placed on the restricted list last week after his 17-year-old son, Darius McClinton-Hunter, was arrested in Texas on charges related to sexual assault. The family's lawyer previously said that the veteran outfielder doesn't plan to rejoin the team until his son's legal issues are resolved. Mark Trumbo will continue to start in right field during his absence.
