Deal Reddick for Tim Hudson?

Postby pjtroy34 » Tue May 22, 2012 3:05 pm

12team, H2H weekly 6x6 roto; additional cats of BB-KO hitting, L, SV+HD.
Can keep up to 10 players for a maximum of 3 years, move up 2 rounds from the previous year.

I've been offered Tim Hudson for Josh Reddick.
Hudson is out of keeper eligibility (though that is immaterial); Reddick would be an 18th rounder if he makes a team's top 10.

I imagine this is the best I can do for Reddick at this point and I'm not sure if he can keep it up...if I wait, the window will have closed.
He hits in a nice spot in the lineup, but I'm worried that the second time through these teams, adjustments will be made.
We also have a category of KO-BB so that ratio is important...though having Nellie and Stanton put me behind the 8-ball anyway.
I like his slight speed component, but my pitching is pretty lacking since I lost Luebke, Duffy, Mariano, and others.

Thoughts?

Seems like a decent offer, but Reddick has been amazing so far this year and it wouldnt be a bad idea to just hold onto him.

I have a feeling Hudson will continue to play well while Reddick I believe will not hold on to this type of play much longer. Hudson also has a good closer so that will help him secure wins. Your call, but I say do the trade.
