Youk cleared waivers (on FA now), worth an add? (WHIR)

We get three player adds per week. It's Tuesday, and I've already used two of them, so I get ONE MORE the rest of the week until next Monday. Kevin Youkilis was dropped and he cleared waivers. I'm wondering if it makes sense to add him, or if I should pursue a pitcher with my last add.

The most likely drop would be Mike Minor. I keep waiting for him to turn it around and it's just not happening. Here are the FA options:

-Julio Teheran: hear me out on this one. Minor is not long for the big leagues, he'll probably get sent down to figure out his stuff sooner than later. Jurrjens is an option, but he got lit up in his last start. There are rumblings of the talented Teheran being the call-up if Minor gets sent down. He's obviously worth an add if he does get the call, and I figure that I'm not starting Minor anyway, so stashing Teheran on the bench doesn't REALLY hurt me.

What would even use him for? Looking at your roster it doesn't seem like you would even be able to use him anywhere. Also Minor is struggling but he could turn it around. He is a solid pitcher.

I'm of the opinion that Youk's basically done as a viable fantasy player this year, possibly beyond.

A much better move, IMO, would be to drop Henry Rodriguez for Scott Downs.

I actually still like Youk, but not any better than the guys you have. If you can stash him I do think dropping Minor for him is a good move. If he's done, you've just lost a struggling SP who can be replaced in a 12 team league. If he puts it together, and especially in a points league, he's the type of hitter who can, you have a valuable trade chip.

I'd also make the Rodriguez-Downs move though.
