Adams worth the 1 waiver if not owned on a minor roster? Would probably have to drop Luke Gregorson or Francisco Cordero for him, not the end of the world really.

I am not sure if he is worth the #1 waiver but he is worth an add. I would do it.

We play standard lineup (no CI/MI, 3OF, 1DH). Thing is there's nearly nothing that comes up from the minors during the year that isn't already drafted and I'm sure he won't clear waivers and become a FA.

No I would not use the # 1 waiver on him. He still has to prove that he could hit at the major league level, which is a big jump.

Gotta pass with the no. 1. Adams is an elite prospect and could end up being quite good, but the Cards weren't ready to bring him up, and he isn't guranteed a full-time spot now, much less when Craig returns. He's more like a no. 5 or no. 6 waiver kind of guy.

He has to prove that he can hit at a ML level before you go out and get him. I would sit tight for now.
