I'm planning on adding him July 1st and play the waiting game. C eligibility is huge, especially for people who wasted a high draft pick on Santana (this guy). My guess is he plays in the futures game and gets the call sometime in the following week.

Well, that's exciting. ;-D

Being in contention, the Royals SHOULD call him up.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :~(

The configuration of my league makes it worth my while if he doesn't reach 130 ABs this year.
I think he'll be up August 1st after someone gets traded, but I'd prefer September 1st

Assuming a July callup, one of two moves seem most likely, and either could provide a real nice opportunity for MLB teams needing an OF. SF already benefited greatly from the preliminary move to free a spot (Melky trade ).
Option 1) Frenchie traded to open RF for Wil, (excellent defense/arm, with sporadic pop that will play better in a less spacious park, great clubhouse/dugout prescence).
Option 2) Myers takes over CF. But Lo Cain is soon to be healthy and has promise well beyond what would be a 4th OF/defensive replacement role upon his return, (and they have Dyson too who projects more to that 4th OF pinch runner role talent level). Would they move Cain in a trade? He was one of the key pieces they received in the Greinke deal.
Less likely (but still possible) fallout, either Gordon or Butler are moved :-o
How do we see this shaking out?

I'm going to go with Option 1 ... unless Dayton Moore's stiffy for Frenchy somehow keeps him on the roster.

As a KC fan, that's my hope. I noticed your affinity to the Dodgers. Given their slide without Kemp, Ethier's recent oblique injury, and the way the Giants and D-Backs roared back in the division, I would think the Dodgers might be checking on Francoer's availability.

OF Bourgeois called up by KC today. Understood calling him up over Myers since they want Myers getting regular ABs and Bourgeois will just be riding the pine anyways.

Yost re-iterated they want to clear space up first. Anyone hoping for a July call-up better hope someone out there is interested in Frenchy.

I would think that would depend on how long Kemp/Ethier would be out. Corner IF is the primary need.

Lets be honest, at this point every single position other than SP and C is a position of desperate for LAD :-D
