I know he will be on the DL for a couple more weeks, but is he worth using a #2 waiver on anyway?

Yeah, definitely. I'm never one for caring about my waiver priority or holding on to it for too long. If there's a guy on waivers you want and think will help your team, go get him, regardless of your position. Jennings can be a stud, was an early draft pick, and is definitely worth it.

You should put in a claim for him absolutely, but I would be surprised if the guy with the #1 claim didnt grab him.

I'm in favor of it.
I like holding on to my waiver spot if it is good... but in reality not much seems to come around in fantasy baseball compared to football.
