McCutchen trade help

Postby mjobin » Sat May 19, 2012 10:55 am

I was looking to trade for McCutchen and was thinking of offering Brandon Phillips and Martin Prado, as the team I am trading with is weak at 2B and 3B. Is that enough to get him or do I need to offer more? Standard roto and my team is:
C - Montero
1B - Teixeira
2B - Phillips
SS - Tulowitzki
3B - Beltre
OF - Ichiro, Hamilton, BJ Upton
Utility - JJ Hardy/Billy Butler & Kipnis
Bench - Prado & Maybin

The other team has Allen Craig at 2B who just hit the DL and Chris Johnson at 3B. I know Prado isn't a difference maker, but he has multi position eligibility and is a decent option. Any opinions appreciated, thanks.

If you can swing that deal then absolutely do it. Especially since you have Kipnis.

I think that is a good offer. Not sure if it will be enough to get it done but is a good place to start. And who knows the guy might take it.
