this is going to sound bad. I don't own Berkman in any leagues. in fact he was on my avoid list before the season because I didn't think he was as good as he showed last season and people were going to be drafting him way too high based on last years numbers. BUT I hope he's done for the season, and Matt Adams plays 1B for the rest of the season. I just picked up Adams in a deep 16 team league, so this is a personal reason for me. nothing against Berkman.
nice to see Ryan Zimmerman have a good night, hopefully this will continue.

If by "real Padres" you mean the team that my pitching staff is 0-3 against (gonna be 0-4 in a bit) in five starts in the last three weeks, then you would be correct
Edit: the Pads are 3-0 against my Haren, Capuano and Strasburg the last ten games. They are 4-6 during that span, meaning they are 1-6 during the other seven games :|
Cubs manager Dale Sveum said he may change the 1-2-3 hitters in the lineup. Sveum is looking to jump-start his offense, but this plan likely won't have any barring on that. Promoting Anthony Rizzo would be a start, but that won't happen until at least next month. The Cubs were pummeled in a three-game series against the White Sox over the weekend and Sveum is targeting the top of the lineup as an area of concern. "I might think about changing things at the top of the order," Sveum said. "It's not that anybody is doing anything wrong but just to change something because we aren't producing any runs that way. We might change things up there." David DeJesus, Tony Campana and Starlin Castro would be moved down in the order if Sveum goes through with this plan. Castro has hit third all season. He's in a 3-for-18 slump.
Some interesting 2-starters this week who may be available...
Jerome Williams @OAK & @SEA John McDonald vsNYM & vsCHC
Any thoughts on these two? They've been up, they've been down, they've been striking a lot of guys out, they've got good match ups, home, away. Interested to see who keeps up and who doesn't.
I assume you meant James McDonald, as opposed to Canada's first Prime Minister. I'd easily start McDonald over Williams. Although that's about as sweet a pair of two-start opponents as you could hope for in the AL.
