Gaby Sanchez to the minors.
Marlins optioned 1B Gaby Sanchez to Triple-A New Orleans.
Sanchez, an All-Star last year, was spectacular for the first few months of the 2011 season but he has been a well below average regular since then. He struggled over the spring and carried the offensive woes into the season, batting .197 with one homer before Miami sent him packing. Logan Morrison could be switched to first base, where his defense would at least be viable, while Sanchez works out his kinks on the farm. Miami must be kicking themselves for not selling high on Sanchez over the winter.

who now gets regular AB? Greg Dobbs? or maybe Austin Kearns?

Country Breakfast with his 8th bomb of the year. Thrilled with his production, especially given the price paid, so far this season. ;-D

Traded Marcum straight up for him, who I got straight up for Hector Santiago (guy was uber desperate for closers right at the beginning of the season). Loving every part of the country breakfast.

Wow Ross Detwiler is horrible.
I thought his 2 start week would give me an edge but instead hes just tanked my ratios, not given me a single qs or W, and has only struck out a handful of batters :-t

Berkman would get hurt the day after Craig goes on the DL.

first day i have zimmerman on my team and he goes 3 for 5 with a jack, good stuff. traded victorino, kipnis, casilla, and rodney for zimmerman, jennings, and price in a h2h league where i have like 8 closers. pretty happy with it.

The Cardinals pulled first base prospect Matt Adams from a game at Triple-A Memphis Saturday night.
Adams is likely to be promoted to the major leagues if Lance Berkman (knee) requires a stint on the disabled list. The 23-year-old is batting .338/.373/.597 with nine home runs and 27 RBI through 36 games this season at the Triple-A level. He launched 32 homers last year at Double-A. Scoop him up in deeper mixed fantasy leagues.
