Is there any prospect at all, however faint, of Ike Davis coming around this season or should I just give up and be done with it? He drew yet another blank today. %-6

I don't typically worry about my starters much anymore. It's my relievers that kill me. Today I have Morrow on a bunch of teams, which has already been mostly offset by Marshall (Morrow and Marshall are together on three of my teams :-{) On my money team I have Haren. Smyly is on a roster somewhere, I'm afraid to see if I started him.

Yes but it may take a DL stint, a trip to the minors, and 2+ months of waiting before he gets his confidence and his stroke back. If it's a deep league or keeper I'd probably hold depending, but for shallow leagues I'm done with him already.

Good to see Toronto having success this year, that whole team is either prospects or castaways of other teams. The Mets broadcast mentioned last night that Bautista was technically a Met briefly way back with the Kris Benson trade. :,-(

I guess Friedrich didn't have it today. Seattle is not supposed to be a good offensive team. Friedrich got fried.

Ryan Vogelsong continues to be the most under rated pitcher in fantasy baseball

Traded him last week. You're welcome. My ownership of him has been holding him back for years.

good bye Adam Lind?
Adam Lind - 1B - Blue Jays

According to Danny Knobler of CBS Sports, the Blue Jays placed Adam Lind on outright waivers Friday.
"No chance he gets claimed," said an American League executive. Lind was batting just .186/.273/.314 through 132 plate appearances this season and finished with a brutal .251/.295/.439 slash line in 2011. Toronto signed Lind to a four-year, $18 million contract extension prior to the 2010 season. The club is on the hook for a $2 million buyout of a club option after the 2013 season.

I always get confused with all the different type of waivers. what is this one? outright waivers, so once he clears, he's done? a free agent?
