High profile trade - should i do it?

Postby kovals » Sat May 19, 2012 9:29 am

Iv'e been offered Paul Konerko, Yu Darvish, Tommy Hanson and Matt Holliday for my David Price and Adrian Gonzalez.

What do you think? Obviously those are my best two players (even if A-Gone started the season quite slow).

Thanks in advance.

I am actually not sure if Price is the best pitcher in the deal (I love me some Yu).

It depends who you would be dropping for Holliday and Hanson. If they are more than just a small upgrade over your current roster, I'd make the deal.

Wow this is really tempting. Who would you drop for the two added players?

Assuming that it isn't anybody that good then I think I would do this deal. I agree with baegames that Darvish and Price are very similar values and Holliday/Hanson and Konerko are pretty good returns on AGone.

I would probably drop 2 infielders from my bench, no one special.

Without seeing your full team I would make this deal since you said Price and A Gone are your best 2 players. It is almost like you are gaining Holliday for for free (I think Darvish and Paul are good value). Blind site says pull off the deal and do not look back.
