That's a tough call, before the season started I would probably say yes. But I'm not so sure if I would feel comfortable with it at this point. I do think Zimmermann and Reyes will be solid and reliable, but Miggy is arguably the best hitter in the game. Maybe its just me, but I dont give a player like Miggy unless its a no-brainer.

I agree with Zhangman1. Depth might prove more valuable... I'd make the move.

It's good value but I'd only do this if you have a good 1B to plug in.

The plus side is if they are healthy, I think you do get pretty good value in return as long as you have a solid 1b to replace Miggy. That said..the injury history of the two doesn't have me overwhelmingly sold. I don't think I'd do it.

I wouldn't. Injury concerns are definite.

If I am looking at upgrading the offense, I would see about acquiring a 1b to plug in for Seager and move Miggy to 3b.

no. You're giving up the best player in the deal. You get a lot back in return, but both Reyes and Zimmerman have extensive injuries in their history. Depth is important but you might actually create your own depth problems if they get hurt again. Cabrera has stayed pretty healthy and produced, plus he can DH which will help with his longevity.
