I would. I think Avila is behind Montero, but not by much.

Halladay and a free agent are better than Zimmermann and Smyly (neither one of whom has gone through a full season).

Still do it if he is wanting Romero instead of Zimmermann?

I guess the question is who is better for me to retain? Zimmermann or Romero?

I'm definitely liking this deal for you. Avila will turn it up and Doc is Doc.

Honestly I would rather have Zimmerman than Romero. I would do the deal, giving up Romero and hanging on to Zimmerman. You're getting pretty good value, IMO.

Help?

What are you really gaining by trading Zimmermann for Halladay? A big name? I feel like Zimmermann can be one of the best ERA/WHIP guys in baseball and I'm not sure if I would give him away in this deal. Before the season started I would jump on this deal, but at this point I wouldnt, especially with the way Smyly has pitched.

Help me with mine if you can please :-)
