E5 for Haren WHIR

Postby baegames » Fri May 18, 2012 6:42 pm

I have Justin Morneau on my DL. By league rules, I have another week to move him off.

Another team has Chris Davis as their starting 3b.

Try to trade Edwin Encarnacion for Dan Haren? My worst SP is Philip Humber or Scott Diamond.

Edit: forgot to mention that it is AL Only

with 3b so thin and so many people beliving in e5's breakout i think you can get more than haren if you have to move encarnacion.

I would try to snare a Beachy or Matt Cain if you can.

I would trade Edwin for Haren but I think you could get more like a Cain at this point for Encanarcion.

I agree with others, you have to try to capitalize more on Edwin's start. Haren's a decent return but you could probably try for more at this point for E5. I'm a fan of Bechy and like that idea from a previous poster.

Agree with this post. I would aim for Cain, but I wouldn't trade E5 straight up for Haren.

E5 will probably get moved from the comfy DH spot to 1st when they bring Vlad up to DH.Then he'll have to think again. One of the things he'll think is "Oh crap,I'm Edwin Encarnacion".Then he will regress to the normal waiver wire fodder guy that he is and always will be.

Grab Haren if you can and don't look back.
