Just hit the waivers in my league. I was surprised, but hadn't followed him much this year so I did some digging. His triple slash for 2012 isn't far off from his career line. His ISO sits at 104 (190 career). The power seems to have vanished... any idea what's up?

He's not playing at all against lefties, even though he doesn't have significant career splits (.342 career wOBA vs. lefties, .351 against righties). He's missing two games a week on average. Like you said, most of his advanced stats are in line, so you figure he's going to get hot eventually, but it's really frustrating for now.

I was expecting a ton more from Duda and LoMo. Both havent played consistantly and are missing ABs.

He belongs on waivers in most leagues and might be fringy all year as the soreness post the surgery looks like it will stick with him for a bit.
He cant get any power going with the aches. Im GUESSING it must give him more trouble vs lefties hence whey hes been sitting.

I think that's reading too much into it. They just want to give him some time off because of the injury. The best possible day to do that is when they're facing lefties. Nothing more.
My weekly points league requires us to keep at least 2 batters as bench players. Not really worth dropping him at this point...yet. It's very early still. Too many people make panic drops and regret it later on.
