i was just offered Hosmer, Granderson and Ricky Romero for my Votto, Matt Moore and Matt Joyce

I hate giving up the best player in the deal but I think you win overall here and it will help your team. Romero is better than Moore, Granderson is light years better than Joyce and Hosmer should turn it on soon. I would take it.

This is close, but I am leaning towards saying you should pass here. I just dont like the idea of losing Votto, he is by far the best player in the deal.

This is a tough one. It's so close because the huge jump from Joyce to Granderson kinda makes up for the drop from Votto to Hosmer, but if it were me, I would pass. I just couldn't give up Votto in this deal. Votto is just the best all around player in this deal.

I feel the same way. I would hate to lose Votto. he does it all. To me Granderson is slightly overrated . He isn't stealing bases.He is also 31 years old. The steals will go down every year. Only 1 so far. He isn't hitting hrs with man on base. So not many RBI for the hr production. He has two hrs on the road. He doesn't hit for average. I would pass.

I wanted to be contrarian and say take the deal, but I just can't do it.


Hosmer vs. Moore is a wash. Both have great potential, and both have been awful.

Grandy vs. Votto you lose. It's not a big loss, but you get the lesser end of the two regardless.

Romero for Joyce you gain. Joyce is solid though, and Romero isn't quite an ace. This is in your favor, slightly.



Overall it's almost a complete wash, you just lose the best and safest player in Votto, so the deal is an overall pass.
