I am in a deep 14 team Fantasy Points Auction keeper league. We have deep roster perimaters We start the following weekly, (2-Catchers, 2-1B, 2-2B, 2-SS, 2-3B, 5-OF, 1-DH, 8-Pitchers 6-Bench, 3-Minors) Players have 3 year contracts then become free agents. This deal really has no keeper ramifications.

DH - player has to qualify @ the DH position 20 games last year, and 10 games this season minimum
P - any combination of 8 pitchers (starters or relievers) weekly submissions.

I GET:
RP - JJ.Putz $1(3) (free agent at seasons end)
(little worried about Putz, but he was a top 5 closer last year, thing is closers have been a mess this season, for Fantasy.)

I TRADE AWAY:
OF/DH - L.Scott $7(1) (qualifies @ DH for our league, has his main value)

My current DH is B.Butler (who only qualifies @ DH for the moment, and obviously is my STARTER @ that position.
My OF is pretty solid so Scott is on the bench. OF Depth, A.McCutchen $30(1) M.Bourn $8(2) M.Joyce $4(1) M.Trout $9(1) A.Craig $5(1) L.Scott $7(1) E.Thames $2(1)
My Pitching has taken some beatings in the last weeks (Wilson on DL) (Luebke on DL) and (Niemann on DL)

I think I'd do it ... Scott usually has one bonkers month and then is rather pedestrian. Putz's fastball velocity is up according to recent reports.

I think I might settle on this deal, but I am also in talks with a bigger deal, with the same owner.....trying to see if he will bight since he loses Hellickson at seasons end anyways.

I'd probably do it. The DH slot is tough, since there are not many quality options if the player has to specifically qualify as a DH, but Scott is very streaky and Putz would be a nice add for you. I'd pull the trigger. If you can do the Hellickson deal, I'd prefer that one, but if not, I'd still pull the trigger on Putz.

I would do either deal. (Obviously if you can get away with the second one, go for that.) Scott hasn't been that consistent, and with your OF staff you really don't need him, but improving your pitching staff seems like a good idea.
