Ok, so obviously I drafted the all dl team. I'm in first right now, but I have two tough weeks this week and next before guys start coming back, and I really want to add a couple of bats. My only worry is that I'm going to sacrifice my pitching too much and be in trouble there after everyone gets healthy.
can my pitching staff hold up after this deal?
Morrow/Bumgarner/Middlebrooks
for
Wright/Cruz
is there any combination of pitchers you wouldn't give up in this deal? I'm also talking to him about Encarnacion and/or Holliday subbed into this trade.
bonus question, I also had doumit until last night and I dropped him for Pierzynski. Would you rather have Ellis, Arencibia, Rosario, or Saltalamachia at C instead of A.J.?
Thanks for the time, Post a link and I'll check it out as quick as I can.

I think your pitching will be gouged if you make this trade. It'll make your offense look stellar, though, so if there are players on the wire that you can pick up over Johnson or Cespedes, then you could make this deal and scoop them. They'd have to be halfways decent to make it work. Then, at a later date, you can try to package away players when Gardner, Jennings, and some closers come back. It's risky, but it depends on how badly you want your offense to succeed.

In regards to the trade, I like it BUT only if there's a couple decent SPs on the wire at the moment to compensate for the loss. I'd like the trade even better if you subbed out Cruz for a SP from the other manager. I'd also like the trade better if you took out Cruz and one of your SPs all-together. Maybe Bumgarner/Middlebrooks for Wright?
In short, I'd rather not give up Bumgarner but Wright is a nice haul to be sure.
As for the C situation, I would rather have Ellis (or Lucroy if he's available). Both are high AVG catchers who won't hurt you in the big picture.
Help with mine?

Well, that trade didn't work out. I tried targeting wright and Holliday individually, but again no go. I ended up settling on getting Cruz in exchange for Lester. How did I do?
