Buy Low on Gallardo? WHIR

Postby sigriffey » Thu May 17, 2012 12:59 pm

Is Gallardo a good buy-low? This guy wants my Montero. Who could I give him alongside Montero to get Gallardo and Molina such that the deal would be worth my while?

I think he is a great buy, low.....

BUT I also think your rotation is fine. As is......

By including Molina in the deal, your gonna have to give him a SOLID pitcher back, maybe Beachy? but then again that might not be worth it. Beachy is probably better from here on out then Gallardo.

I personally like your rotation as is. Gallardo is a killer in H2H because he is so inconsistent. Since he became a full time starter he has pitched 19 months not counting the current one. In 5 of those he has had an ERA over 5. That is killer.

That being said if you want to grab him and the other owner is willing I wouldn't give up anyone that isn't on your bench except maybe Sale because of the health issues and the innings cap. The real issue is that I think most of your pitchers are either too valuable to give up or not valuable enough to get the other owner to bite.
