Dealing for Lincecum, and who to add? (WHIR)

My team has been awful this season. I thought I'd have a great pitching rotation, but Wainwright, Moore, and Minor have all sucked. Only Verlander's carrying his weight right now. My RPs are likewise awful, blowing saves left and right.

I need to move some bats for pitching. I'm having trouble getting anyone to bite, but I have an offer on the table of:
I give: Nelson Cruz, Freddie Freeman
I get: Tim Lincecum

Going off my roster, I can afford to give up Freeman (have Tex, Posey, and LaHair all 1B eligible) and my OF can afford the loss of Cruz with Young coming back soon. This is probably the lowest price I'll get on Lincecum all season. On paper, I'm losing value, but none of the other teams want to make trades and my roster can afford it. I don't need 5 bench batters. Even though it's an overpayment, I think it might be time to roll the dice to try and save my season. Would you do it?

Also, I have one empty roster spot with Worley on the DL, and I also want to drop Brian Fuentes at some point. I have ONE PLAYER ADD left until Monday, when I get three. I'm thinking it has to be an RP or a SP, but if a bat is good enough, I'll grab him. Who would you add with my one remaining player add?

Cruz is JUST starting to heat up, i dont think I would make the deal. There seems to be quite a few solid SP's on the waiver wire, why dont you just spot start?

Who's the best on the WW then? I'm leaning toward Friedrich...could be worth a roll of the dice. Or is Santana a better option?

Santana is the best on the WW IMO (see his last 3 games), I don't think you should give up freeman and cruz,esp. for lincy, who hasn't been the best this year. So agree with spot starting

Try countering with LaHair and Parker ... both of whom I like but would consider the package a good buy-low on Lincecum.

Sorry if you've already tried this approach...
