Setting a lineup-general strategy

Setting a lineup-general strategy

Postby st3v3k4hn » Thu May 17, 2012 1:00 am

I'm a newb in a yahoo h2h league that allows daily changes. So every day i get to look at rankings, matchups, and various other stats before setting my lineup. At first i just had my top guys and left them in every day. Then i started paying attention to matchups, but quickly learned how misleading they can be. Lately i've been playing whoever seems hottest. So, for example, i am sitting victorino in favor of reddick at the moment, regardless of matchups. I also was starting Avilles instead of Asdrubal Cabrera for a while when Avilles was hot. Over time, is this smart? Or is it better to play Yahoo's matchups, or to just leave in the A guys? Thanx...
