I would stay put. Montero would be nice to have, but you don't need him. Hosmer will probably outproduce, or at least break even, with Montero by year's end.

wow really tough. Like you said, you're pretty good at 1B this year.

I don't think Ruiz keeps this up all year so I think in terms of winning this year, the trade will help you because of the upgrade from Ruiz to Montero. Hosmer might have better numbers than Montero at the end of the year but Hosmer plays at a position where offense numbers are easier to come by.

If you could get a secondary upgrade somewhere else with Montero I would do it. Otherwise it's a coin flip
