Of course, this is based on the off-chance Wandy gets dealt to a contender and Ervin gets a wave of offense from a Angels team that statistically will be due for a monster second half offensively.

I'm deadly scared for Peavy.

RV is a horrible monster. What business does he have leaving Peavy in for 122 pitches, 2 starts ago? The guy has been battling injuries the past 3 years. RV completely mismanages his pitching staff. Look at the whole rotating closer situation. Reed, Sale, Santiago, Thorton.. etc.

I'm guessing Peavy gets hurt before the All Star break, comes back and then gets rocked.

I'm following PEavy closely because I have him on my team. But I'd lose all my sleep if I tried to follow everyone as close.

So

Peripherals last year /peripherals this year/Team

Zimmerman - A, A+, C (not sure about offense support)
Sanchez - A, A+ B
Wandy - B-, B+, C+
Santana - C, C, C
Hellickson C, C, B+
Mccarthy B+, B+, C

So I'd go

Sanchez
Zimmerman
Wandy
Mccarthy
Helcikson

How Zimmerman isn't 1 easy, baffles me.

Ok, I don't know if this ranking was delivered yet, but this is the accurate ranking, in case you were wondering. ;-) The spaces are used to indicate tiering.

1. Zimmermann
Good offense (when everyone's healthy), and in my mind he's the true ace of that staff. Won't have as much of a limit this year (possibly no limit at all).

2. Anibal Sanchez
3. Jake Peavy (yes, he's back)

4. Hellickson
5. McCarthy

Not as high on Hellickson as most, and I like McCarthy more than most.

6. Scherzer
6. Santana

In my mind, those two are the same pitcher. One day they could throw a no-hitter, the next they could get absolutely shelled. That's how inconsistent they are.

7. Loshe
8. Wandy

These two aren't terribly great options...I'm not sure what this list is for, but if you're looking to cut/deal then these two would be candidates, as would the previous two. The previous two of course would bring back something slightly more intriguing probably.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)
