I'd stay away from Putz. I read an article earlier today on the Arizona closer situation and there was a lot of positives being written about David Hernandez. The way closers have been falling this year, you may want to target a different fireman. Thanks for your help on mine.

I like McDonald. Putz is 35 and has bot Hernandez and Shaw behind him. Given that, I can see ARI even trading Putz at the deadline if they've fallen too far out. I think you're better suited falling into some saves off the waiver wire.
Take Putz man a 3rd closer in a deep league is $$ no worries you can always snag another arm later. Guys like Ernestro Frieri Dale Thayer Dolis come to mind (available?)
FYI DO NOT DROP LINCOLN!
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
I honestly think you can afford to trade a SP, so this is a pretty fair trade imo.
You just have to pray that Putz can keep it on track this year, or he can definitely lose his job.
But, if there are some decent options on the FA/WW of guys who could possibly take a job soon, I might hold off on this trade and just pray that one of those guys can take the closers role. Someone like Dale Thayer or Frieri.
