What are realistic expectations for this guy for the remainder of the season? What's his fantasy ceiling this year?

My guess is 15 HR, 70/70 on runs and rbis, and perhaps a .275 average. I just don't see it in San Diego at this early stage of his career. Decent enough, but not a wow factor.

So out of Alonso, Smoak, Belt, Carp, and Loney who do you like best for this season only? Nothing long term.

I'd probably still ride with Alonso and hope for better numbers than what I shot from the hip with. I don't see much from Loney or Carp, Belt has issues with playing time and may never get it, and Smoak is a lot of risk with streakiness. I'd still roll with Alonso.
