This is a 12 team h2h points league. Starting pitching is highly valued in this league (most teams have mostly SP's on their bench, so the WW is bare). I've been trying to trade an OF for a SP for a while now, without luck. I offered C Hart for Wainwright. He declined and countered with Wainwright for Nelson Cruz. Should I do this? I'll include the poinst scored to date so far for relevant players in ( ). Based on points scored so far, it doesn't seem like I would be losing too much subbing in Cuddyer or Ichiro.

Batters- 1 points= single, run, rbi, walk
2 points= double, stolen base
3 points- triple
4 points= homerun

Pitchers
Win/Save= 10 points
Complete game= 5 points
Inning pitchers= 2 points
Strikout= 1 point
Hit/Walk allowed= -.5 points
earned run= -1 point

I would not give Cruz to get Wainwright. The other night, when the Braves were playing the Cards, Don Sutton was talking about how it really takes 18 months to fully come back from Tommy John. Wainwright is only about 13 months removed from the surgery. I think he will find his ace form again, but it may not be until late in this season. I think your initial offer was a fair one, so I would try to work something out around that.
