Matt Kemp, Weekly league

Matt Kemp, Due to miss a game or two, Would you bench him for the week?

My only OF option to replace is Harper.

Butler is only eligible as DH so the Util spot. I'm considering benching Posey for Ruiz and starting Butler but im conflicted on that too, Posey's due to start hitting a little bit in this homestand. Also Alvarez v Ramirez at 3B is causing me some headache too.

My main question is where people are feeling on Kemp but any other input would be appreciated. Feel free to leave a link, I'll give my input on your questions as well.

You have to keep Kemp in. His numbers are great so far and unless he goes on the DL you should definitely not take him out. Although he has been off since he injured his hammy last weekend, he is too valuable to not have in your lineup.

His injury is clearly affecting him. Last week he was .211 with one XBH and one RBI.

He's due to miss at least todays game, and with one more game then a short road trip to San Diego, I think he may just sit out 4/7 games if he doesnt go to the DL. His value is diminished extremely this week if he looks to miss more than 3 games. Problem is I think I'm going to have to make the call before there's any news about the MRI.

I think that you absolutely have to roll with Kemp. Even if he plays in just 3 games with a little rest he might just start raking.

Honestly, I feel the Ruiz is due for a cooling-off period. I would run with Posey and Butler.
