I am in a 5 keeper league so Trumbo is on the outside looking in anyways right? We can only start 2 closers and right now mine are Jose Valverde and Frank Francisco. heres my team, what do you think of this deal??

Trumbo has more power and upside than Markakis, IMHO. Hang onto him. They'll be sandwiching Pujols between him and Morales before too long, and that's good for all 3. Take it from me, I've watched it for 11 years in STL. The 2/4 hitters will benefit from Pujols when he heats up... And he will. Trumbo will either see more RBI opportunities with Pujols/Morales on ahead of him, or more runs and HRs because teams will pitch to him to avoid Pujols/Morales behind him.
Rodriguez is a closer only until Storen gets back... May be a while, but Valverde is the man in Detroit. Tigers will win more games than the Nats, which should mean more SV chances.
I think it is close but I wouldn't do it either. The biggest worry I have is actually the closer side of things. Rodriguez will likely lose his job when Storen comes back so no need to have that worry. Plus I do like Trumbo more than Markakis (but really that isn't saying much).

Thanks guys. My thoughts were I could lose some power from Trumbo for Markakis but the rbi's could be about even, and IMO doesn't Henry stand a good chance of keeping the closer role if he keeps pitching lights out?
Markakis I hate to own, he always has down spells and never has a big game, his stats look decent at the end of the season but up til the end of the season numbers I hate the guy.
as long as trumbo plays his a better option then markaskis. also valverde is one of the few closers that has a very long leash in losing his job. rodriguez has struggles lately and doesnt get the save chance every time plus storen will be back eventually no way do you do this deal.
