How's this trade?

Postby Colt452011 » Sun May 13, 2012 11:31 pm

This is a 12 team, keeper/prize league with an auction league each year. Here's the trade that's been offered to me. Here is the other person's roster and mine is in my signature.

C- M Montero
1B- A Pujols
2B- D Ackley
3B- R Zimmerman
SS- D Jeter
2B/SS- J Lowrie
1B/3B- I Davis
OF- H Pence
OF- M Holliday
OF- A Gordon
OF- A Ethier
OF- A De Aza
UT- N Markakis

P- H Bell
P- W Rodriguez
P- J Niese
SP- C Hamels
SP- J Samardzija
RP- S Casilla
RP- R Betancourt

BE- I Kennedy
BE- D Price
BE- D Storen
BE- B Gardner
BE- C Utley
DL- S Santos

The offer made to me was that he'll give me I Davis and A Gordon for D Wright in which he put in the notes that he's seeing what I'd want for Wright and to feel free to shoot him a counter offer. Wright is on FIRE right now, so I'm not going to make the wrong choice here. Do I keep Wright, take the trade, or strong arm for a better deal. Personally, I don't like Davis over Goldschmidt even with his platoon situation. I don't plan to keep Wright for next year as I paid high for him so I'll try to bid on him again next year. What do you all think? Suggest other possible trades here too. Thanks.

To clear up players in my sig, Rodriguez in the pitcher slot is Henry Rodriguez temporarily filling in as closer in Washington and that is JD Martinez the OF for Houston.
C- Montero / CI- A Gon, Arenado, Youkilis, LaRoche / MI- Weeks, Simmons, Hardy, Hamilton / OF- Bautista, Gomez, Markakis, Jones, Saunders / UT- Brown / P- Hamels, Strasburg, Samardzija, Gallardo, Iwakuma, Zito, Cashner, Minor, Robertson, Bell / DL- A Rod

standard sell high in Wright. Go ahead and trade him, but I would ask for Pence and someone else. Ike and Alex do not do it for me for a scarce position stud in Wright.

Is Wright for Hamels straight up good, or stick with offense?

SELL HIGH ON WRIGHT! I did it last week. I got McCutchen for him.

I would try to strong arm a better deal. Just my 2 cents.

Help with mine?
