Someone in my keeper league dropped Chris Sale and he has cleared waivers.
Max Scherzer looks much better his last two games, but I'm still thinking Sale would be an upgrade. Amy arguments for or against?
FYI, under my league's setup, Sale's RP eligibility doesn't give him any extra value.

As I have been doing for the last couple years now, I am going to defend Max Scherzer (and what better post to one and for all definitively support him than my 1000th).
I love Max Scherzer. Now and forever. Trust the mechanics change. We have a Cy Young contender here now, folks. He's going to pull a Verlander-like performance out of the hat this year.

Sale is worth picking up but not for Scherzer. I am worried about Sale for the rest of the year and I still think Scherzer can be a solid SP. Not sure Cy Young candidate but still worth owning.

This is my total roster. It is a 6x6 keeper league that counts holds (meaning, Pestano cannot be dropped). I also have a lot of hurt people right now, double the amount of DL spots I have to hold them.

I wouldn't drop Scherzer. If you were going to grab Sale, I'd probably drop Youkilis... I think he's done. Plus once Longoria gets back you really don't have a need for him.
