Yes, I love this trade. Bourn provides a ton of speed for you, and Max changed the way he holds his glove/ball in his windup and you've seen the result over the last two starts. 18 K's, 2 BBs, 13.1 innings. Looks good to me.

Even if LaHair is legit, he's at best a 25 HR guy with 80 RBI potential. I'd rather have the speed of Bourn (him along with JRoll/Schafer could win you steals every week) and the upside of Max.

I would probably have done that deal just for Bourn so getting Scherzer is more of a throw in. LaHair might be for real but that doesn't mean all that much. Craig can fill his spot pretty easily and Kendrick is a nice 2B but not a strong Util play and should be easy to replace.

YUP! Do this. It upgrades your team. Getting Craig off the bench is a huge plus... This kid is a hitting machine... He's no fluke. Legit 85/30/100/.310 hitter that's eligible at 1b, 2b and OF in most leagues. That's Michael Young territory, plus power.
