BIG 4 for 4 Trade, Leave one, 100%

Postby Bravos of Steel » Sun May 13, 2012 11:49 am

I've been offered Hanley Ramirez, Michael Bourn, Ubaldo Jimenez, and Jarrod Parker for my Jimmy Rollins, Howie Kendrick, Will Middlebrooks, and Johnny Cueto. My team definitely needs steals, and could use some SP depth. But is this acceptable? Standard 12 team yahoo league, H2H. Leave one, and I'll give it my all.

In a heartbeat. Move Craig to Util NOW. Been in STL watching this kid for 2+ years, and he can flat out RAKE. He's no fluke. Bourn and Hanley should definitely improve your lineup. Middlebrooks for Ubaldo is a gamble I'd be comfortable with, and Cueto for Parker is a move I'd definitely make. You'll be better all around.

Any advice on my trade situation? ---> viewtopic.php?t=446727

You're buying "low" on Hanley assuming he can give you a 2010 version of himself rather than a 2011 one. Bourn will give you the steals for sure, and you could also do with putting Craig in that lineup.

I don't think Ubaldo/Parker is better than Cueto, and that you'd actually be taking a hit in the pitching department. If you're ok with making this trade knowing that, then go for it.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)
