I am in a shallow 6 man head to head points league. Someone just dropped Mark Teixeira and I was thinking about picking him up. Right now, I have Votto(1B), Beltre(3B), Freeman(1B/3B), and M. Young(Bench). I was thinking about dropping Young and picking up Tex. I know that he is slumping(.212 with 4 HR) and he is partially injured. Young is hitting .293 with 3 HR. Post your link in the comments for help.

Tex is always a slow starter,I'm hoping his bronchial passage infection just made it worse than usual.

Tex always starts slow in April and May and then heats up like crazy. This is the time to get him as it's all positives from here on out. Personally I'd pick up Tex, drop Young and keep Freeman but I'm really high on Freeman. Young has different spots he can fill in case of injury though so Freeman may be your best bet to drop. Tex over both of them anyways.

tex over freeman. nothing wring with freeman, but [see the above posts]... young will get around 90 runs and 100 RBIs with flexibility. if you can sneak him in at 2b, youre golden.
Any advice on my trade situation? --->

Yeah drop Freeman and go for Tex, Tex will get fully healthy and start cranking the ball and if you wait it might be to late.
