I figure I will be ok in speed with the recent acquisition of Bonifacio and eventual return of Ellsbury and Crawford. Plus the fact that my hitting has been feast or famine (Dunn, Upton, Stanton, etc...) and Pence is hopefully more of a consistent bat to counter that trend.

I remember seeing a trade on here awhile back where someone desperately needed speed and was thinking of offering Pence for BJ Upton. I remember commenting that Pence was too much to give up for Upton just for the sake of steals. That being said I think you definitely came out on top on this trade, you may lose some speed but you have plenty of speed on your team to make up for that. Pence will increase your AVG and hopefully bring in 25 HR. Good trade on your part.
