Trade Cliff Lee for Starlin Castro? WHIR!

12-team Roto mixed keeper (up to 4) league, scoring cats are: R, HR, RBI, SB, OPS. W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP.

I badly need steals and an upgrade at SS (Alexei is off to his typical slow start) without taking a big hit on OPS like many speedsters will do to you. His team really needs some good SP. My team has really been bit by the injury bug.

Don't know if your pitching can handle that hit, Kennedy has been pretty bad and I feel like Feliz will fall off the second time around. Tough call but Alexi is a summer ball player, you have to know that when you draft him. That being said all you really have to trade is a pitcher, with Lee coming off the DL people will undervalue him or at least try give him a little time to heat up so you get 2nd round pick value for him.

I think Castro is a huge talent and even though Lee is a stud pitcher, it's going to be easier to find useful pitching on the wire than a standout SS like Castro. I'd make that trade.

I don't think I would do it...I know it is a keeper league but you haven't received much numbers from Lee yet. If it were later in the year I would probably do it. Cliff Lee gives you across the board stats for a pitcher...Laugh maybe not so much wins this year the way the bullpen is imploding.

As good as Castro is I just dont think you can take the hit to your pitching. Loosindg Lee would really put you back IMO. No deal. Maybe try a 2 for 2 with Castro and a SP?

Lee seems like an awful lot for Castro...and if you need steals, that shouldn't be too hard to find in an OF.

Only reason I'd trade Lee is his propensity to get injured. Castro would help in most cats except HR and RBI...I'd want Castro and a solid SP back.

In a keeper I would have to do this trade, considering Castro would definitely be one of your keepers as of now. PItching is easier to find than a top SS.

I would say on this season alone it's nearly a wash, MAYBE favoring the Lee side, but I don't think you need Lee if you work the wide for pitching. For the future, I see Castro and Lee as a keeper, and Castro has more value long term. Go for him.
