Is Reed the guy? Should I drop one of the Boston 3B, or Balfour for him? Casilla was also just dropped and is on Waivers..

I personally like Casilla better. I'am very confused as to what the Sox are doing! Sale went from starter to closer, they also have Thornton (closer), and now you speak of this guy Addison (closer) who I didnt even know existed until I just did some research. So I would stay away from the Sox closers because it seems they dont even know..... I would stay away from Addison for now.....
Help.....

I don't think it makes sense to drop Balfour for him. With only two RPs on your roster it must be difficult to win the saves category anyway, so why bother? Give your roster size and your starting pitching, I'd be inclined to drop Lilly for either Reed or Castilla. You can always pick up an SP off waivers if you need to - but you look great in that regard without Lilly. Castilla has the gig already so I'd probably go with him over Reed, even though Reed has great stuff and I've dropped Sale to pick him up in two leagues.
Help on mine?

Sale is getting an MRI today.Once they get the results of that they'll decide what to do with him.If he goes back to the rotation or the DL then I think Reed is the guy.
If he stays in the pen the whole thing is(edit-even more of) a cluster**** .
I drafted Reed in a holds league but dropped him early for some long forgotten reason and I picked up Sale off the wire early.I'm about ready to bail on Sale if it doesn't look like he's going back to the rotation.

I don't see any chance they put Sale back in the rotation, even if the MRI is clean. The fact that they pulled him out of the rotation so early in the season based on elbow tenderness would seem to indicate that they are much more inclined to protect him than risk further, more serious injury. I think Sale is either the closer, the main set up guy (if Reed takes advantage and seizes the closer role), or on the DL.

Well seeing that you don't know who Reed is tells me you don't do your fantasy homework, back in February- March he was hyped as their closer of the future as much as Kenley Jansen was with the Dodgers. He was projected to take the job from Thornton this season and with Sale's injured shoulder the job is his and he's good and probably won't give it up.

Reed is the real deal!! It is just that the White Sox have no idea what they are doing..

Casilla is the proven closer here. The CWS pen situation is still up in the air until the MRI news comes back on Sale, then even after. I would wait until news breaks on Sale - should be sometime today - but if you have to make a move, pick up Casilla.
I wouldn't drop Balfour, I'd go with 3 CLs if you can. I would either drop Lilly or Middlebrooks.
