Thinking of dealing Lance Lynn and Dempster for Panda. Would be a huge asset when he comes back and kind of think my SP can sustain these losses, I worry that in a month Dempster and Lynn will hit a wall/regress and I will regret not taking this deal
Quick help in return...

I like selling high and buying low, but panda might miss 2 months. thats a long wait and freese is a pretty good 3B in his own right. Id stay, but at least try to get an upgrade elsewhere along with Pablo

Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...
Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

My bad, forgot to change the offensive part of my roster. I have Michael Young there now and added Lester in a trade of Freese and Cuddyer. Anyone like the deal or should I stay put and play it safe with SP depth?
Thanks, quick help in return...

In a keeper league, yes, trade for Panda. Non-keeper, no

Too late to worry about it. I don't mind it anyway. I like Dempster a lot but it's likely the wins won't be there at all this year and health is always an issue. Detwiler is a complete unknown and I wouldn't be too surprised if he crashes back to earth. Of course I also wouldn't be too surprised if he holds SP3-4 value for the rest of the year either but it's a good sell high on him for now.
Panda should be back by mid june or so. When healthy he is a vastly underrated talent. Even with a terrible lineup around him he provides good stats in every category but steals. Most people have no idea he is only 25.
What pitchers are available off the wire that you can get?

B Norris
Niese
Scherzer
Masterson
I also have D Hudson coming off DL likely soon

Good deal for you then. Scherzer has the most upside by a mile and I would take my chances with him. If he has figured out his "mechanical flaw" like he showed in his last start he can provide great rewards that easily cancel out Dempster.
I actually think you did quite well when you start moving the pieces around and realize how your lineup will look.
