Drop Luebke and Werth?

Luebke, Werth, and Longoria on DL. We only have 2 DL slots available.

1. DL Longoria
2. DL ?

Can I safely drop Luebke and Werth?

Yes you can drop both

id drop Luebke before Werth but realistically if Werth has that long out then needs some more time to get back up to speed youre talking close to end of season anyway

Personally I would rather fill the DL with someone coming back sooner if applicable

I would probably drop Werth, keep Luebke just in case the second opinion is some how different but when it doesn't then I would be ok dropping him. No point in dropping him until you are sure since you have a free DL spot.

I wish I knew the extent of Luebke injury.

It appears Luebke is likely done until 2013.

Werth is out for 3 months or so. He'll be rusty coming back and probably won't have much power recovering from a wrist injury. So, I'll drop Luebke and stash Werth the DL for now.
