I currently have Bucholz on my bench. I believe he's a sound pitcher going through a horrendous month. I now can't ignore what's on the waiver wire. Do I hold onto Bucholz because even if he's only average he still pitches for Boston.
Currently available (rank them as best option for the rest of the year)
Matt Harrison
Buehrle
Zambrano
Edwin Jackson
Niese
Mike Minor
James Mcdonald
Some rosterable guys. This isn't even all of them. Just the best probably.

Most of those options are better than Buchholz.
Specifically I would rather have Jackson, Niese, and Harrison. The others I guess are more of a tossup.

All of the above are better than Bucholz. Something is really wrong with him and it doesn't look like it will be an overnight fix.

All the feedback is definitely appreciated. I have a hard time thinking that Jackson is the number one option due to his career whip, but I can see he is the consensus pick and I'm sure there are plenty of reasons why. I actually went with the hot hand here - Zambrano. There are so many options out there that if Zambrano fails then I'll go to another one.
Thanks again guys..
