He left yeaterday's game early. He is in the lineup today, but he has been battling a sore achilles. Having suffered achilles injuries in the past, I know that rest is part of the necessary treatment. He may be dealing with this for a while.

FYI, I read that Ryan Howard had been dealing with achilles discomfort for some weeks before rupturing his and needing surgery. He opted for a cortisone shot and played through the pain.
