Pujols for Granderson?

12 team H2H keeper league, keep up to 8, but only 5 guys from the first 10 rounds.

Just got a really interesting trade offer.
I give up Granderson + Kimbrel + Craig
for his Pujols + Zobrist.

Granderson can be kept in the 10th next year. Pujols is a 1st rounder and ill have to cut him next year to keep MCab.
None of the other guys are under keeper consideration.
Im currently in 3 place overall at 3.5 games back, tied for 1st in my division.
Granderson has been one of my best players and losing him will be tough especially considering Ells is out for another 4-5 weeks.
However 2B was a huge black hole for me with Ackley playing there everyday, although Craig has been great in a tiny sample.

Pujols would be my UT and bump Hosmer to the bench. If Hosmer (and Pujols) ever get going then i could use Pujosls at 1b, Mcab at 3B, and platoon Lawrie/Hosmer based on matchups.
Losing Kimbrel's Ks will hurt but I still have 4 closers.

I don't see how this would really help you in any way. You have a stacked offense as is. I like Pujols more than Granderson but I like a 10th round keeper of Granderson WAY more than a one year rental of Pujols. If Craig gets consistent playing time you can put Ackley on your bench and replace your util with either Hosmer or Ellsbury.

Quite frankly all this deal does is weaken your OF and put you into a bind with your UTIL spot.

I agree.. not that I don't think pujols will be alright the rest of the year, but this trade isn't anything special for you. You have good depth and this would hurt that.. and pujols isn't *that* much better than granderson. Kimbrel is your best closer.. and in this wild closer year I think having a rock solid guy is something to hold on to.
