H2H league.

Stats - innings pitched, wins, cg, sho, K's, K/9, whip, saves, holds, quality starts

I have Fister on my DL. Who would you drop out of this group? I'm really thinking Niese here. I have Chapman for Holds. What do you guys think?

Kershaw
Strasburg
Cain
CJ Wilson
Garza
Niese
L. Lynn
Sale
Putz
Jim Johnson
A.Chapman
Dempster

Chapman would be my drop. Marshall is holding down the closer job in Cincy, and even if Chap moves to the rotation, he won't pitch late into games, limiting his upside.

Niese should take a step forward this year, and I think he'll be more valuable than Chapman overall.

Thanks for the response. I agree with your reasoning, but I have Chapman for Holds. With that being said; who would you drop?

I prefer Niese over Fister, think he'll have a solid year and will be a much bigger help in the strikeout categories. He is the weakest active guy on your staff though. Chapman is undroppable in basically any format, forget about it with holds and K/9. It gives Dempster the edge too.

I'd take Fister over Niese all day. Since coming over to Detroit, he has a sub 2 ERA, a sub 1 WHIP , and a 63 to 6 K:BB ratio... in 12 starts.

Not to mention he was good in Seattle before he was traded, he just didn't get the W's because of the Mariners offense. He could win 15 games in Detroit when the offense gets going with outstanding overall numbers.
