Team and league info at the bottom.

I gave: Jake Peavy, Jim Johnson
I got: Mark Teixeira

I'll almost definitely use the empty spot to add another RP as I'm now down to two: Ernesto Frieri and Henry Rodriguez...yuck!! I'm worried that, with Freeman finally turning it around (and adding LaHair), that this trade is a mistake. I was going to take it off the table today, but it just got accepted before I had the chance to. Did I still do well? Or should I have backed out when I had the chance?

Thanks and leave a link!!

Yeah you did a great job, sold Peavy as an ace and got a stud hitter in return. Tex always is bad in April, and he will be just fine from here on out, you definitely sold him at his proper price. Some people think Peavy is a sell high, but I think he will continue to pitch well all year as long as he is healthy. Maybe not THIS well, but still a solid pitcher.

My only concern is that now Posey has 1B eligibility, so instead of having only one 1B in Freeman, I now have 3 already, and Tex on the way. I guess I could try to move one, but it's still a good value for the guys I'm giving up?

I guess my question is why did you aim for a 1B? You already have SO many bats...4 on the bench 2 on the DL. And now you're adding another bat. I would have tried to go the other way--upgrade pitching. That's just me though. You certainly got good value, I'm just not sure if it was that great of a trade given the make-up of your team. Sorry.

Great trade. You need to move a bat for a cloer if you can. Lots of ww work for some closers as well. who is the closer for LAA right now?

I think it's Frieri, who I already have, while Scott Downs is out.

Great trade especially since the likelihood of Peavy staying healthy all season is slim. Regardless, Tex is great and a late starter. well done.

Help with mine?
