Another closer...Francisco?

Postby Pav » Tue May 08, 2012 12:53 pm

Am thinking of dropping Boggs for another option.

Since I have been going 2 closers and 1 saves player, should I now consider adding Francisco? I worry about Francisco since he has a 6.00 ERA through his first 13 appearances, but he has successfully converted seven of eight save opportunities.

Or another....maybe Cook?

Francisco. The only closer who is the closer and not just named the closer because of another's failure or injury.

Hal·la·day, n. 1. every fifth day in Philadelphia. 2. a day of rest for the bullpen. 3. innings eater. 4. doc. 5. ace.

Yeah I agree with the poster above me. Francisco started with the job and isn't close to losing it. The elevated ERA is mostly from early season outings(if I remember correctly) and he's been solid as of late. He's my choice.
