OK guys, this is a 12 team roto h2h with the following categories:
Runs, RBI, HR, OPS, AVE, SB
Wins, WHIP, ERA, K's, Holds, Saves
I've done a great job acquiring players through the waiver wire but I have too many offensive players. I need to drop two guys and pick up some pitchers. Who would you drop?
Here's my team:
C-Arencibia 1B- Votto 2B- Kendrick 3B- Sandoval (DL) Using Reynolds SS- Dee Gordon OF( We start 4)- Stanton, Jay Bruce, J. Upton, Shin Shoo-Choo Util (We start 2) Billy Butler, Kelly Johnson
Bench: Adam LaRoche, Cameron Maybin, Cody Ross, Jed Lowrie
Should I drop anyone or try and make trades? I need to bolster my pitching, but I feel like all my offensive players are valuable and not worth dropping. What do you guys think?
I think you could drop Laroche, Maybin and Ross for pitchers. Personally I think they all could be on waivers. Not sure what your pitching is now and who is available to pick up. Post the rest of your roster and available players.
LaRoche and Ross are the most expendable because they also wouldn't carry much trade value (whereas Maybin and Lowrie, due to the hot streak would carry a bit).
I'd drop both of them and put in claims two out of these three:
Porcello Duffy Pettitte
They are the only ones on that list even worth owning. There might be even more than that available, you just might not realize they're sneaky pickups. Give us some more pitchers on the wire.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

I've been offered a trade that involves me giving up Billy Butler and a SP for Ian Kennedy and Aroldis Chapman. IS this a good trade? Which SP would you give with Butler?
