Drop Mike Minor, Who to Pick up???...... WHIR!

This guy has been playing terrible. He got off to 2 decent starts and has done nothing good since then! Do I give him a little more time, or go for a FA? Also I hear once Jurgens gets back Minor loses his spot? Not sure if I should pick a another versitile or okay hitter, or go for a SP, which will likely be streamed?

I think I hold tight for 1 more start. Bass is tempting though, but Minor's pedigree is tough to dump and you have decent depth to hold him.

You have a lot of the same guys that I go after on my fantasy teams and I was just deciding on Mike Minor today in my lgs.

I was gonna hold tight for one more start but Drew Smyly was available in most of my leagues. I'd also be cautious with playing Minor in his next start (St. Louis Cardinals I believe). Don't overreact on the Coors Field game though; Coors Field is hard on even the best pitchers.

I'd say that it depends on who is available on the waiver wire. Personally, I'd sign Pedro Alvarez, move Mike Aviles to 2B and bench Rickie Weeks until he starts to heat up.

EDIT: I should also mention that Pedro Alvarez is supposedly the new cleanup hitter in Pittsburgh so he should have more scoring opportunities since he'd be hitting behind Andrew McCutchen (No. 3).
