Unfair Trade?

Hello all, there is some debate about the fairness of this trade in our league. This is a normal head to head league with the following stats: H, HR, RBI, SB, OBP, and W, K, SV, ERA, WHIP.

This trade was vetoed in our league by the commissioner. I am not involved in this trade but thought that was an overreaction. So I ask Is it close? Or is this as our League GM put it, the worse trade he has ever seen? Thoughts please?

Side A gets: (*Note this team has just lost CL Rivera and CL Marmol)
SP Gallardo
2B Weeks
CL Sean Marshall
CL Scott Downs

Side B gets:
SP CJ Wilson
2B Pedroia

Not vetoable IMO - I'd rather have Pedroia than Weeks (not close) and Wilson than Gallardo (closer, but still). Marshall seems to be the "evener" of the deal, and while Downs might slightly sway things, he's injured and not really worth that much in the moment. I'd rather be on the Wilson/Pedroia side, but I think it's a pretty classic consolidation for one team and spreading of assets for the other team deal, and I never have a problem with those. Both people clearly trying to better their teams from what little I know

Dont see any issue with this from a veto standpoint. I believe I would rather be on the Pedroia side as well. That team is getting the talent but the other team is getting plenty of usable parts.

This. It's a completely fair trade because (I assume) both managers are improving their teams.
