Trade Jose Valverde for Fernando Rodney?

We all know Valverde has struggled this season and Rodney has been excellent. The only thing stopping me from making this trade is that Rodney could lose the closing job to Kyle Farnsworth when he comes back. Thoughts?

Keep Valverde. Like u stated, Rodney's job is not secure. Valverde has a lock on his job. Trading a closer for a closer rarely makes sense in fantasy baseball, unless somebody offers you a trade that you can't pass up and you can buy low, which is the what the owner on the other end of this trade is thinking, Buy Low, Sell High.

That's what I thought. How about an opinion on this trade? I trade Jose Valverde and B.J. Upton for Joe Nathan and Nelson Cruz.

I would say do this. Valverde has about as much value as Nathan (although Nathan is an injury risk). If you need HR and RBI and can afford Runs and Steals then this definitely make sense, as Cruz and Upton both will provide low average. Plus you would be buying low on Cruz.
