Trading CarGo for pitcher

Postby Petter » Mon May 07, 2012 10:08 am

6x6 h2h categories. QS instead of W and BB/9 and OPS extra categories. An owner in the league has shown interest in CarGo. I could use som help in the pitching categories and his team is loaded with pitching (Verlander, Weaver, Kershaw, Strasburg, Halladay).

What would be a fair return for CarGo? Straight up for a top ten pitcher?

Edit: 6 player keeper league.

More than that. In a 6 team league, Cargo has more value than a pitcher. You are going to want at least one of those 5 you mention and then another arm. Maybe a tier below that. I might offer up a deal for two of those guys for Cargo and another player.

I'll clarify: keeper league, we keep 6 players. 10 team league.

Sorry for not being very clear.

Thanks for the feedback though!

Doesn't change anything. Cargo was a top 15 player in the draft and he should still be that highly thought of. That means he generally went ahead of all those SP and should be worth one of those players and a little more. I personally would try and pull a 2-2 deal if you can.
