12 Team H2H Weekly Points League. We start 5 starters and a closer. I was pretty unlucky this week with Sale moving back to the bullpen and Luebke joining Hudson on the DL. I am most likely going to drop Sale and Betancourt since closers don't have much value in the league. I am hoping to get some advice on waiver adds.
Some of the top pitchers on the wire right now are:
Jason Vargas
James McDonald
Jake Arrieta
Gavin Floyd
Ryan Vogelsong
Bud Norris
Jake Westbrook
Wade Miley
Wei-Yin Chen
Erik Bedard
Anthony Bass
J.A. Happ
My Team:
SP Beachy, Brandon
SP Garza, Matt
SP Sale, Chris
SP Wainwright, Adam
RP Bard, Daniel
RP Robertson, David
SP Hudson, Daniel
SP Hudson, Tim

As the others mentioned it's gotta be Jake Arrieta and/or Erik Bedard. Arrieta is the ace of that staff (that is until Dylan Bundy gets promoted or Brian Matusz figures it out), and Bedard has found a place where there isn't any pressure to perform or win consistently. I'm leaning toward Bedard based solely on the K's, but you can't go wrong with either. I'm sure I don't need to tell you that Bedard will more than likely spend a good amount of time on the DL at some point this year, so be warned. Until then, with his current performances, he's a fine pickup. Just don't count on lots of wins or great health and you won't be disappointed. Once he hits the DL this summer, move on and do so quickly.
